NOT SINCE DREYFUS HAS ANYBODY ENDURED THE MALIGN EXECRATION SUFFERED BY JEREMY CORBYN by Donal Kennedy

The courage of Emile Zola (for which he may have paid with his life) vindicated the character of Dreyfus and saw him freedfrom imprisonment, his commission in the French Army restored, and his detractors exposed for the bigots and blackguards they were.
It also saw the re-establishment of a Secular, Republican, France.
But the experience of the virulent anti-Semitism inspired the growth of Zionism, which had little support amongst Jews inEurope or further afield before the Nazi attempt to murder every last one of them.
Human nature being what it is, some of them found the inhumanity visited on them by their enemies instructive, and vowed. like Shylock, “to better, the instruction.”
Understandable, but not conducive to the establishment and maintenance of justice and peace, where all human beings,Jew and Gentile, have rights and duties.
And Jeremy Corbyn has as much right to his good name as Captain Dreyfus.
