 Did you see the sheer joy of the Tipperary and Cavan players, when against all the odds they became Munster and Ulster GAA football champions respectively at the weekend? Is this what you get only in an amateur sport? And who invented counties anyway?

Miriam O’Callaghan did a soft (Pat’s word) interview with Billy Hutchinson at the weekend. Billy is promoting his book that depicts his movement from childhood into loyalist violence. Do ex-IRA men get the same air space for their stories?

And that vaccine breakthrough at Oxford: can we now expect that we’ll all be free and frisking like Spring lambs come April? Do we want to be frisking like Spring lambs come April?
