The West says that Russians are guilty of war crimes – helpless civilians found with arms tied, shot dead, and other horrors. No doubt horrific. But has the West – for example, Britain – ever done anything like this?

With the DUP saying it will not go back into Stormont if the protocol is not sorted to its satisfaction, are we now at a point where we must accept that Stormont is finished? Is the DUP using the protocol as a fig-leaf to cover their own anti-democratic element>

Gareth Bale, the Real Madrid footballer, earns over £600,000 a week; the average wage of a woman footballer in Britain is £25,000.  Is this unjust? Or are men simply better at playing football and so more enjoyable to watch? And how should a football team relate to its community?
