POTS AND KETTLES by Donal Kennedy

THE TIMES (of London) professes shock/horror  at the untruthfulness of Boris Johnson.

Boris is reputed to be 57 years old, And I would be inclined to believe that he has been telling whoppers since before he had teeth to lie through.

But THE TIMES, which has been trading under its current title since 1788 has a record going back 234 years and must surely outrank Boris in Infamy.

It has employed the forger Richard Pigott to destroy Parnell, been edited by Harold Evans who published lies about the recent War in Ireland and is currently owned  by an oligarch who, described by Private Eye as “The Dirty Digger” seems happy to rejoice in that description.

Its shock/horror at Boris looks like the Pot calling the Kettle Black.
