PAT + JUDE TALK ABOUT THE MASSIVE OO MARCH, DUBLIN AIRPORT CHAOS, IRISH NEUTRALITY & DONEGAL (SOB)

That big Orange march on Saturday – was it threatening violence?  You ‘ d say no – it all passed off peacefully. But if the Rev Mervyn Gibson says “We are British and British we’ll stay – No Surrender!” – is that not putting the finger up to what the GFA has promised?

Dublin Airport was a scene of ridiculous confusion over the weekend – over a thousand people missing their flights. When will Dublin Airport and all sorts of other organisations who serve the public simply HIRE MORE PEOPLE? Even in normal times, you’re expected to be in the airport about three hours before the plane leaves. Is there really a need for that?

Micheál Martin is saying his government plans to set up a citizens assembly to look at the South’s tradition of neutrality. What about a citizens assembly to look at a new Ireland? And why does the South need to think about signing up to kill people??

Finally, Donegal were beaten by Derry – sad, for Pat McArt and to some extent JC as well. But it’s good to see Derry back after soooo long an absence. Isn’t it?

Liverpool lost – should they have? And was it an unmitigated sorrow that Leinster were beaten in rugby by La Rochelle? Maybe it was a terrific win…
