PAT+JUDE TALK ABOUT DERRY GIRL DOCUMENTARY, CAR RENTALS, PRES. HIGGINS & HOMELESSNESS, & JOE DUFFY

‘Derry-Girl’ Jamie-Lee O’Donnell featured in a TV documentary recently, where she visited an Orange marching band. She asked them if they knew any Wolfe Tone tunes – and she asked them what they thought about Bloody Sunday. Was that a good idea?

The price of renting a car in the south of Ireland is about four times the price it can be rented in the north. Who is to blame for this madness? Or is that just the market at work?

President Michael D Higgins has spoken out on the shame of homelessness. He is the President of Ireland – is he not supposed to be above politics? And does he feel at all embarrassed, as he speaks on homelessness, that he lives in a house with his wife, and that house has 95 rooms?
