To look at him, you wouldn’t think Micheál Martin was a wildly interesting person. I say that because in today’s vlog/podcast we get caught up in the Dublin government and their attitude to the North. I wonder could he be a Sinn Féin mole? As Pat says, every time he opens his mouth,  he adds votes to Sinn Féin’s hefty lead.But does that mean John Finucane is right to attend a South Armagh commemoration of IRA volunteers? Stephen Nolan doesn’t think so. We give that one a thorough going-over.

Then there’s golf. Rory McIlroy is a bit miffed – the PGA, which he stuck with despite hundreds of millions being dangled before him by LIV. Now the PGA and LIV have combined and Rory, God love him, is feeling a bit miffed.

And what about ‘sportswashing’ in general? Is there any real difference between a multi-billionaire owning a club and a state like Saudi Arabia owning it? Do we always take into accound a person’s moral character when we deal with them?
