THE REIVER AND THE GAEL – by Randall Stephen Hall

Hi Jude,

Just keeping in touch with this new recording
of THE REIVER AND THE GAEL, written first in 2007.

A story about the Border Reivers, exiled from the war torn space
between England and Scotland shortly before the Plantation of Ulster
circa 1610.

With no memory of these events most people in Northern Ireland
are unaware that it is a shared narrative as the Reivers, as refugees
ended up on both sides of the conflict during the Troubles many years later..

I hope you find this track from a forthcoming album interesting.

Some names from the Borders are Graham, Kerr, Elliot, Hume
Turnbull (Trimble), Hall, Jamieson, Huddleston, Irvine, Robson
Charlton, Douglas, Scott, Herron, Maxwell, Nixon and many more.

Good Luck for now,

Stephen Stiofán
