The allegations of sexual abuse by Catholic priests in Catholic schools just keep on coming. Is this a long-overdue cleansing or a mob eager to kick those who once ruled the roost?

There is abuse in every religious group, no group is exempt. Abuse within the Catholic Church gets more publicity from people like Stephen Fry and the late Christopher Hitchens because of their ingrained anti Catholic hatred. They only ever mention Catholic sins. Which is fair enough but people like Fry should just admit their bias. Don’t take us for fools.
As far as Jack Grealish and Declan Rice are concerned, they are not Irish. I saw Rice’s parent crying their eyes out after Italy (hooray!) beat England at Euro 2020 so I am not even sure THEY are Irish.
As for Ringland and Campbell, they supported the unionist and loyalist armed groupings, no surprise there. Just don’t expect us to have supported them as well. No way Jose. ( Just threw that in there to feel all warm and fuzzy about Spain beating England as well.)
