And what about that TV drama ‘Brian and Maggie’ , showing Brian Walden doing a crucial TV interview with Maggie Thatcher – are there events in recent Irish politics that would make an equally riveting programme or programmes? Or are RTÉ ‘frit’ to do such a thing?
Why is it that children are our prized possessions, and teaching is maybe the worst paid and least prestigious of the professions? Has it anything to do with the lousy pay?
