If you anwer “Yes”fashionable commentators will catalogue you as a Liberal. I’d catalogue you as a tyrant.
How do you describe a political party that disowns, expels or otherwise disciplines a democratically elected member of parliament or local government who upholds the right to life of the child in the womb? I’d describe that party as tyrannical, and guilty of treason to the human race. That’s my opinion, though I have no doubt that such a party would deny me the right to hold it. Tough shit, ladies, gentlemen and those unsure which shithouse he/she/they should use.
How do you describe a Minister for Health, a Cabinet and Parliament which insists that Doctors, Midwives, Nurses, Pharmacists and ancillary staff carry out or assist in the procurement of abortions or other procedures that conflict with their principles, consciences or the Hippocratic Oath? I know that a coven drawn from both sides of the Irish Sea on BBC4’s Woman’s Hour recently described the vote to repeal the Eighth Amendment as “LIFE ENHANCING.”
I’d describe such a Minister, such a Cabinet, such a Parliament and the Coven on Woman’s Hour, a “Ditch-delivered Whelps and Bitches” .
