IN MARCH 1972 OLIVER WAS REARRESTED AND RE-INTERNED FOR A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS AND EVEN THO HE WAS A PRACTISING SOLICITOR AT THE TIME THE FREE STATE DID WHAT THEY DO BEST THEY STOOD IDLY BY

Hogg was certainly a fool for making his infamous statement, but I don’t know that he put forward specific names to any group for elimination.

RUC officers openly told Rosemary Nelson that they were going to murder her. The RUC constantly harassed Rosemary, on one occasion even spitting in her face and on another getting physically violent.
Needless to say, RUC, UVF, UDA, MRF, British Army, FRU, SAS, etc were all working together. Collusion is no illusion.
There is a paper trail on the Finucane murder coverup that leads right to Thatcher’s cabinet table. Blair made that statement to Ahern during the GFA negotiations and if you remember Cameron’s retracted comment about some of those involved still knocking around the civil service, you’ll know that it is only time until those papers see the light of day.

The Finucane issue reminds me of how the shinners/provos are not dealing with the Brian Stack case. Gerry has made another mess and he is digging frantically to get himself out of a process that puts him front and centre of withholding information.
