A young person in the UK has taken action against the NHS for doing as they asked of it.
At a tender age they demanded an operation to re-align their genitals so they’d correspond with the gender they’d wish to be known by.
The NHS obliged the whim of the young person without consulting its parents. Apparently the NHS believed it had an obligation to do this.
The young person has since changed his/her mind.
It’s a sad, sad situation.
In Ireland it seems that there is a Trendy/Bendy tendency to ape the fashionable follies of other countries.
The Yoof section of Fine Gael through its LGBT section has imposed on their party a policy obliging doctors to realign the genitalia of minors on demand by those minors themselves without the consent of their parents.
No doubt other parties and factions will rush to join the Blue Blouse/Shirt campaign.
The policy is either a Load of Ballocks or the crazy notion of some Silly Celts.
