Statement on the British Amnesty Plan for Soldiers, Security
Personnel and Double Agent Killers of Irish Citizens
The British government has chosen to cover-up its lawless legacy in Northern Ireland by granting pardons, amnesties, get-out-of-jail-free passes, call it what you like to their double agents, soldiers, MI-5 and police killers of hundreds of Irish citizens. This two-finger salute to the Irish government, the European Union, the United States and particularly to the families of hundreds of victims seeking the truth is typical of Brexiteer arrogance. It is a criminal conspiracy and cover-up at the highest levels of British government. It should be opposed. In recent years, as lawsuits and appeals began to expose the lies and corruption of British governance in Northern Ireland, the sinister pattern of British destabilizing policies and actions…the cycles of murder, assassinations, political disruption and evil schemes of human rights abuses and religious discrimination…. has emerged. The British depict this latest mendacity as a virtuous act made possible by Brexit freedom!
Why this desperate act now? Britain needs a US-UK trade deal desperately but the truth of their lawlessness in Ireland could scuttle one. Boris Johnson has peered across the Atlantic and does not like what he sees; bi-partisan anger in Congress and the White House over their undermining of the Good Friday Agreement since 1998.
Attached is a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi seeking oversight inquiries into this dismissal of international law and sabotage of a treaty. –
