PAT + JUDE TALK ABOUT COP26, THE UK-FRANCE FISHING WAR, THE BURNING OF A BUS, & A NEED FOR TEACHERS

Cop26 is underway in Glasgow. Will there be a meeting of minds? There’d better be – the future of the planet is at stake.

 

And even with this doom-laden background, the British are conducting a fish-war with the French. The Tory minister Liz Truss has given the French 48 hours to ‘back down’. It’s called a superiority complex.

Early today, two masked and armed men boarded a bus in Newtownards and set it alight, presumably because the protocol is still a problem. Should we be worried? Will the EU ‘back down’?

 

And finally, in the south they are having a seriously bad time getting teachers for a range of subjects, but particularly Science and Maths. Why is this? Is there an answer to it? Of course there is, and we’ll tell you it if you hit that wee triangle below…
