Karl Rittenhouse is innocent! Or at least that’s what the US court that tried him decided – innocent on all charges, even though, at 17 packing a semi-automatic rifle, he killed two people and seriously injured another at a Black Lives Matter protest. Young Mr Rittenhouse, I hardly need add, is white.
So – out with the old , in with the new. The present manager of Man Utd has finally been told to pack his bags (and his money – he was on around £8 million a year). So who will succeed him? Would Brendan Rogers (‘one of our own’ in Pat’s words) do a good job?
And haven’t times changed? Once, young people and their parents were proud and happy for the youngster to have his/her photograph in the local paper. Not now. Very very thin ice and loads of red tape.
