For unionists in NEI, it must feel as though the world has been turned upside down – or if not the world, then their world. There are now more people of Catholic background in NEI than Protestants. This has alarmed not just unionists but others across the border, like Michéal Martin and Simon Harris. Is constitutional change coming or can FF/FG convince people to concentrate on bread and butter?
Don’t say “Jacob Rees-Mogg is a fracker” – people might not catch that last word and think you said something else. But Rees-Mogg has said fracking will happen, despite planning regulations and despite Tory pledges. Has Liz Truss alienated too many of her Tory colleagues already?
Over the next few days, Ukrainians will be asked if they’d like to join Russia. Putin says it’s democracy, the rest of the world says it’s a sham. We say – well, you’ll have to press the button (no, not the nuclear one) and find out…

I know it relates to something a few weeks back, but I just have to say that I thought ‘Roadkill’ was absolutely appalling.
The plot was clearly an afterthought and as with all BBC content now, the real focus was on portraying women, lesbians especially and ethnic minorities in positions of power.
The incredible coincidences required to tie the loose plot elements together were laughable, only matched by the ridiculously un professional antics of the professionals.
I am very surprised that a journalist would be able to stomach watching this nonsense, let alone recommend it.
I suggest you try ‘The Game’ or the new ‘Ipcress File’.
Despite that, I’m still a big fan of your output.
Keep it up!
