Some people opposed to books about LGTBQ+ matters have taken to removing these books from library shelves. They see themselves as protecting the young. So should young people be exposed to the full range of sexuality? And if so, what would be a suitable age at which to start?

Has the GFA delivered for young people in the North? Stormont is once again not functioning, schooling is segregated, and paramilitarism is brazenly still in existence.

The south is a wealthy state yet homelessness and poverty still exist, in some cases to unprecedented levels. Should the government be taxing the rich more radically?Or are they fearful they’ll frighten the horses and the big American firms will decamp – which would be a disaster for the south’s economy.

Finally, should the south have an army? Are Irish soldiers capable of defending Ireland? Should Irish soldiers be part of NATO and the EU’s military plans?
