Pat + Jude talk about John Finucane, Nicola Sturgeon, Silvio Berlusconi and Man City

John Finucane – wouldn’t you think that since he himself was a victim to terrorism, he wouldn’t consider going let alone going to South Armagh to commemorate IRA people who died in the conflict? At least that’s how a lot of unionist politicians and spokespeople have seen his actions.  Pat and I have a detailed look at that one.

Then there’s Nicola Sturgeon, who was arrested yesterday and then released without charge. A few weeks ago the same thing happened to her son. As one man who emailed me said, “If this happened in Russia, we’d be viewing it very differently.”  And then there’s the question of separating a cause from some of the people who support it.

Do you work from home? All of the time or part of the time? Whether we like it or not, working from home is here to stay.  But of course it doesn’t have to be all from home or none from home – most firms have gone for a hybrid. Would you like to work from home five days a week?

Finally Berlusconi and Guardiola (two separate items, I hasten to add).  Why was Berlusconi a political force to be reckoned with? And  was Man City’s victory on Saturday written in the stars or in a cheque book?

See the intellectual riches we’ve on offer this lovely Monday morning. Jump right in…
