On September 9th 2021 my BLOG here “WHY I WON’T BE ROOTIN’ FOR MAYO” explained why I and my three younger siblings were born in Dublin unlike our elder sibling who was born in the Wesht.
And on March 8 this year my BLOG –
“TURF DEVELOPMENT BOARD LIMITED – DISPUTE WITH ENGINEERING STAFF” carried the text of
Engineers’ case in that 1936 dispute.
Earlier this year I passed that text and my understanding of the matter to the LABOUR COMMENT
Section of the IRISH POLITICAL REVIEW. I had hoped that surviving members of the families of the
Eleven Engineers dismissed by Board (out of a total of 12) might have had something to say, or even from the putative Iscariot Clan.
The fact that the Abominable Showman Ryan Tubridy belongs to the third generation to profit from
State or Semi-state largesse adds some frisson to the saga.
