Israel is losing the PR battle in the West. The genocidal-level bombings and slaughter of innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and indeed refugee camps (in their own country) have disgusted the world so much that even American Jews are showing up in their droves at pro-Palestinian rallies. Israel is losing the PR battle so badly, that social media outlets have started censoring pro-Palestinian press, media, and posts from supporters. As protests and rallies get bigger and bigger all around the world, Israel will up its war against pro-Palestinian media and the truth, hoping to drown it out or kill it off entirely.
Even America has had to roll back its unequivocal support for Israel slightly by calling on Israel to clearly define what its goals are against Hamas in Gaza after the unmitigated slaughter of innocent Palestinians. Only 2 days ago Israel targeted yet another ambulance killing 15 people, claiming it was transporting Hamas fighters. This after Israel claimed it would never and has never attacked hospitals, saying they are “protected”.
Well, here is a tidal wave of facts regarding the relationship between Gazan hospitals and Israel – On July 14th, 2014 Israel bombed Gaza’s only Rehabilitation hospital, and the staff were forced to evacuate paralysed patients during the shelling. On July 19th, 2014 the Israeli military destroyed el-Wafa Hospital even though it knew definitively there were no weapons inside. On July 21st, 2014, Israeli forces fired a tank shell directly at a hospital in Gaza, according to reports it was the third such attack in a single week. On August 7th, 2014 evidence came to light of deliberate and targeted attacks on Gazan health workers by the Israeli military. May 21st, 2021, after a ceasefire Palestinians took stock of the damage wrought by targeted airstrikes on healthcare facilities in Gaza. Those attacks left 5 doctors dead and 19 healthcare facilities unusable. 14th October, 2023, a convoy of ambulances was targeted and destroyed by Israeli airstrikes leaving the UN calling it a targeted attack on healthcare workers in Gaza.
Israel is slaughtering innocent men, women, and children in Gaza in an alleged attempt to weed out Hamas. In that supposed attempt to do so, it has killed, as of 7 days ago, 3,457 children alone, over 1,000 children are thought to be missing under rubble or bombed buildings. Over 8,500 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes since the siege of Gaza began, all in a bid to weed out a few Hamas fighters. Yet Israel claims to be the good guy in the Middle East. Well, one of those supposed ‘good guys’ in the Middle East called for nuclear weapons to be used on the Gaza Strip and for Palestinians to be driven into the Sinai desert or sent to Ireland. Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu said on Sunday that one of Israel’s options in the war against Hamas could be to drop a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip.
Israel likes to portray itself as the only democracy in the Middle East, it has a constant siege mentality (where have we heard that before?) and a constant ‘poor me’ attitude, yet many Israelis look on anyone other than Jewish as dirt (and no, that’s not antisemitic, that’s fact). There are well-documented accounts of Jewish settlers spitting on and harassing Christians coming out of worship, they look on, and call Arabs “Arab dogs” and generally look on other religions and peoples as lower forms of life. One only has to look at the attack on the Al-Maghazi refugee camp as proof of this. Israel killed 120 innocent Palestinian women and children to get to a single Hamas leader. Realistically, Israel doesn’t care how many Palestinian men, women, and children it kills because it views them all as subhuman…as “Arab dogs”.
Israel claims after the current invasion of Gaza it will cut all ties with the Gaza Strip including electricity, water etc. Something tells me this is a line suggested to Israel by America in a bid to make this invasion more palatable, almost to make it look essential to making Gaza safe to live free from Hamas…to make it look like the start of a two-state solution. The problem obviously is that Israel still holds Palestinian land with 2 small enclaves being left to Palestinians. So after Israel demolishes most of Gaza…who will pay for the rebuilding? Certainly not Israel as it will be cutting all ties with Gaza. That’s convenient!
The only chink of light in this genocide of the Palestinian people, is Israel have totally overplayed their hand and this will be to their detriment. Reminds me of South Africa’s security apparatus -before Nelson Mandela was realised and apartheid was scrapped- they were shooting anyone who moved.
