Dear Friends: I have attached two ads placed in 4 Irish American papers in the past couple of weeks. Much of this placement has been thanks to Ed Walsh and his wife Kathleen. The ads purpose is to set a tone for what is next. The ABC Committee has fulfilled its purpose in alerting Americans to the harm of Brexit and its first casualty Ireland. . The British worked night and day with bullying and bribe tactics to ‘persuade’ Ireland to join Britain’s exit from the EU but Ireland correctly resisted. Britain’s economy is, as a result, having little growth and a host of trade problems which sets the stage for the next MI-5 Army destabilization tactics. .

STATEMENT REGARDING MEETING BETWEEN
BRITISH PRIME MINISTER STARMER AND PRESIDENT BIDEN
The next chapter of the so-called “special relationship” is about to unfold with Prime Minister Starmer’s meeting with President Biden. To consider what might be discussed, we refer to the 2021 US-UK Atlantic Charter and its declarations for democracy, the rule of law, human rights, and transparency. The latter we take to mean Britain’s illegal money laundering business. All of these relate, in part, to Britain’s relations with the US and to our ally the Republic of Ireland so we feel comfortable suggesting issues that might be of interest to Americans and particularly Irish-Americans.
- The 2023 Legacy Act abandons the rule of law to bury the truth of 1000+ killings of Irish citizens (many British Subjects) whose deaths bore evidence of police, Army, and MI-5 collusion with loyalist terrorists. Were this to happen anywhere in the U. S., governments would fall. Are the British strangely confident with a cover-up because America is playing along?
- Both the Conservative and Labor parties for 25 years have undermined not only the 1998 GFA but its subsidiary agreements with delay, denial and defunding of obligations and systemic political destabilization. It has all been carefully calibrated by Whitehall to minimize any effort to conduct an Irish Unity poll. How long must these maneuvers deprive the people of Ireland the vote that should have yielded a 32 County Republic in 1918? How can America trust the British to keep their word with this record?
- Labor and Conservatives supported BREXIT. No usual Command Paper or policy analysis was ever produced before the 2016 referendum and none since. It was a calculated gamble that a re-elected Trump would reward the UK for breaking away from the EU: (1) to escape the obligations of the EU human rights convention and avoid a State sponsor of terrorism label; and (2) to end compliance with EU illegal money laundering regulations. The dirty money finances drug, arms and human trafficking and undermines America’s sanctions against Iran and Russia. Expect Britain to seek an American bail-out from the folly of Brexit with trade and sweetheart military and intelligence contracts. Fair enough. What are friends for? Restore Ireland’s 32 County sovereignty through Privy Council, Parliament or plebiscite and then let such US-UK trade discussions commence.

In “The Conservative Crack-Up,” (9/1), Mark Landler observes “…after 8 years, Brexit did not produce the benefits promised by its supporters.” That much was predictable from the date of the 2016 referendum approving England’s leaving the EU. Under normal circumstances, the Conservative government would have produced a Command Paper on such a fundamental policy shift analyzing pros and cons and recommending steps to be taken for such a fundamental policy shift. It did not.
The real reason for Brexit was to extricate Britain from the EU Convention of Human Rights and to escape proposed EU regulations regarding illegal money laundering. The Conservative government feared the real legacy of lawlessness in NI would forever smear Britain’s image of a protector of human rights and the rule of law. Money laundering for Russian oligarchs and others has become a staple of Britain’s economy, especially its territories and dependencies. Unfortunately, it is also essential in drug and human trafficking and undermines sanctions like those of the US against bad actors like Iran.
Thus, media coverage from the 2016 referendum forward has been focused on the cover story of immigrant hordes and strangling EU policies. In the meantime, Parliament adopted the 2021 CHIS (SPYCOPS) and the 2023 Legacy and Reconciliation Act for Northern Ireland which buried the truth of military and police lawlessness and absolved the government of any liability for the killings of more than 1000 innocent civilians. By Conservative standards Brexit was a true success and ‘a very British coup!’
