Consider this.
The town sheriff, name of Aten, is on the record as having killed ten men. He says the ten threatened him and there are other people in the town- men and women and even children – who have vowed to get him.So when he shot the ten in the back it was in each case an act of self-defence.
The town Mayor, name of Dlan, says all he wants is a peaceful town, but it’s clear that he’s making presents of pearl-handled revolvers which make It possible for Aten to do his killing.
Then there’s a banquet held in the town and Sheriff Aten produces a letter he’s sending to the state governor, nominating the mayor Dlan as the greatest force for peace the town has ever known. Sheriff Dlan strokes back his magnificent head of hair and murmurs “Aw shucks, Aten, you shouldn’t have. Don’t forget to collect the box of Winchester45s I’ve left at the door for you.”
Crazy stuff,eh? Except that it got real-life enactment the other day. Israeli prime minister Netanyahu is in Washinton DC, being wined and dine in spite of (or maybe because of) his troops have killed at least 60,000 defenceless people. Netanyahu has produced a letter he’s written recommending that the Nobel Peace Prize be awarded to Donald J Trump.
