THE DAFFODILS
The daffodils are coming
And things are looking up.
Donald’s in his heaven
And things are getting rough.
Kristi’s gotten crispy.
She’s fried and turned to toast.
We are lookin’ up to heaven
For we need the Holy Ghost.
Baby boomers in our cots
Some have rotten milky teeth.
All of this, was never new.
For it grew from broken seeds.
Soldiers in the senate
Broken bones and fightin’ back
The future lies before us
There will be some mighty craic.
And the Holy Ghost, he hovers.
He hasn’t gone away.
There’s a battle going on
Donald tries to make it pay.
Benjamin, he is pumped up
As he tries to cut a rut
The administration stalls
For they know that they are . .
