Does the BBC and Talkback have reason to rejoice in the programme’s 40th birthday? Why were two great presenters of the programme in the early days not even mentioned? And why did so many Protestants leave the City side of Derry and move to the Waterside? Was intimidation involved? Was that what happened when the Free State was set up and the Protestant population shrank from 10% to 2 %?
