Some good points, did he actually say whether or not he intended to vote?
Britain would have a far greater future opting out of the EU and in fact reforming the UK to include other parts of the commonwealth and reducing the monarchy to England only making the new union a more federal arrangement.
Ireland would indeed be worse off on two counts. There would be a double border with passports required at both the land border and the channel border.
We can deal with this by leaving the UK through the GFA, but I agree, it wont happen.
If there was to be a new less monarchy based economic union throughout the commonwealth then I would rather Ireland was part of it than in the EU.
My apologies – the interview in its first version had the last six minutes or so missing – don’t ask me why. I’ve reposted it in full version now (I hope) . Yes, jessica, at the end he says he plans to vote “once” – for Remain.
I had initially felt leaving the EU would be bad for Ireland, it would in the short term anyway for many reasons, the South’s trade with England, hardening of the border, more reliance on London.
Since then, I have seen that the south has little interest in us anyway, is quite prepared to support its media berate the crap out of us, have their president snub us and that little weasel kenny cannot even tolerate us enough to come north and speak with so called fellow citizens about such an important vote, yet he would happily ponce around London.
I then decided I would not vote, it was a British thing and not really my business since I have no desire for Ireland remaining within the UK.
Now I find myself being compared to Nigel Farage and being called a racist for being honest.
I now find myself considering voting and voting leave over this and to hell with the consequences around the border which no one seemed to give a damn about before brexit.
Not sure if I have been subliminally hoodwinked or if everyone else has.
But then again, I am the last sane person in Ireland or is that least? 🙂
“I was in Germany last year, and saw the refugees arriving” he says ” I think ( 1million refugees) is extraordinary”
Well its not happening now Danny. They woke up from the Coma.
Criticism of Merkel ? (the ex communist from East Germany whose prime motive has always been, – to flood Europe with millions of immigrants) This,- the woman who invented the concept of ‘cultural and economic self-flagellation’.
Dannys’ feeble answer?
“She has, .. splutter.. successfully staved that off” – What?.. Which planet is he on?
FACTS:
Germany is on the cusp of economic meltdown.
Merkel is ‘toast’ mate.
Why do you think they want the UK in?
Real figure 2.5 million so far – and rising. – 3.6 million by 2020. – ( German govt. figures )
Total cost: Euro.400 Billion. -source; ( Mannheim Center For Economic European Research, (ZEW) ) conducted for ZEIT newspaper – A Pro EU pro Merkel rag.
There are riots in cities all over Germany. Rapes, stabbings, Health Education and housing systems failing – none of it reported in mainstream media, – Go to Al-Jazeera Press TV and RT and Sputnik and YouTube. Every nite!
The rest of the interview was of course just the usual SF sonsored ‘hogwash’ with red herrings like the ‘border’ thrown in to obfuscate the real issue – which is SFs’ collaboration with the Brits – He calls it ‘reparations’. Well, ask the ordinary people on the Shankill or Falls did they get their reparation money this week Danny.
Probably not. – But their leaders did.
But by far the ‘best bit’, -when I cringed most-, was the ISIL ‘security’ issue he alluded to, with regards Britains’ ‘security’.
Pathetic clutching or what !!
Danny……Britains’ MI5/6 , the US- CIA and Israels’ Mossad- created ISIL- to facilitate their proxy wars, to manufacture the havoc and mass migration flows we are now seeing in Africa ,the Middle East and Europe. Where do you think they got the Toyota trucks and oil tankers from? Ask Ron Paul or John Pilger or any other decent journalist worth his salt. What do you think John McCain was doin’ out there – gettin a suntan?
And on and on he rambled,.. with incoherent suppositions.
And Jude, your interview was like watching Fox news interviewing Rupert Murdoch about his charitable benevolence.
Haa haaa – I like the omparison, tr – nothing like a good parallel to get the blood boiling. I’m sorry if you were disappointed. For my book ‘Whose Pas Is It Anyway’ I interviewed politicians across the board = Mary Lou, Jim Allister, Ian Paisley Jr – and I like to think I approached all of them with courtesy and openness. I think the point of an interview is not to trip up the subject but to let the subject give his/her views and let the viewer/listener draw his/her own conclusions. …
I take your point and understand your ‘courteous’ approach, which would have much merit when preparing for a book.
This however was an interview on an impending vote for a decision, on the legitimacy of a ‘Corporate Cartel’ (EU) – pulling the wool over our eyes and flooding our country with cheap immigrant labour, most of which won’t ever work, -because they are economic refugees – and can earn 3-4 times their working wage from their original country – by just sitting on the dole here.
This is the future that people from the New Lodge, Ardoyne, Lower Shankill ,Tigers Bay etc. want answers to.
This is the issue for them – not the Border, ISIS, GDP the IMF or the Balance of Trade deficit.
And this is the issue that SF has continued to evade.
I guess I hoped you might have ‘interrogated’ him a little more on the ‘corporatist racket’ that he so vehemently defends.
Perhaps this was not the intention of the interview.
I was keen to keep the interview to 15 mins approx – longer than that and people start to lose interest. I’m not sure what ‘corporate racket’ you mean, tr. The official figures in the UK generally show that the great majority of immigrants work, pay taxes etc. No doubt there are some who are ‘benefits scroungers’, but I think even that term is a red herring. The tax evasion by the wealthy is far far more than any benefit-collection by the unemployed. The figures for here may be different but I doubt it. I know there are those that want to pit indigenous working class people against immigrants but that’s part of the divide-and-rule approach – time-honoured here for centuries…
The ‘corporatist racket’ IS the inherent DNA of the EU project.
Unelected bureaucrats in the pockets of multi-national ‘tax -evaders’ -your words Jude.
The vast majority of immigrants don’t pay taxes. That is the elephant in the room.
That is the lie that we are all politically correctly supposed to swallow. Check out your local car wash or Kebab shop or chinese takeaway. They all use the first two year self- employed trading rules from HMRC, to declare ‘losses on startup’ then change named ownership back and forward. The Big Issue sellers are able to register as self employed and therefore qualify for housing benefit child allowance income support because their self employed wages are £2 per day. They’re claiming child allowances for their kids back home in their original countries.
And before you say it, yes I do respect the great work of immigrants in the NHS etc. But these are not the same genre. These are economic migrants either exploiting the slipstream of wars or blatantly using EU open borders to grab an easy touch life on the backs of the indigenous people of this country. And I hope you never have to go on an NHS waiting list. I dont. But there are not many as fortunate as us. Jude you need to get out more into these communities where I am in voluntary work every day.
I retired many years ago having paid many hundreds of thousands in tax over my working career for this?
Just like tax aviodance is ok and legal -and tax evasion is a sin.
Rated AAA and stable by all major credit rating agencies.
They are the strongest economy in Europe TR and maintain low levels of debts. Probably the most durable economy in the world.
The reason they encourage immigration is the need for an injection of youth in order to combat an ageing population. Certainly not on the cusp of economic meltdown.
Firstly, your AAA Rated credit agency reports are zionist ‘gangster’ reports. Same companies which rated Lehmann Bros RBS and swathes of other corporate racketeers before the 2008 crash.
So forget those crooks.
You figures are 2015. This mess started late last summer.
Effects.
German Industrial growth THIS year -Zero.
100 Bn Euro budget – already wiped out
200 Bn.Trade surplus – gone.
VW in crisis over zero emissions -270,000 employees.
One in six Germans depend on this industry for their jobs – so watch this space.
China is Germany’s largest oversees market. Massive falling demand already hitting Germany this year.
Immigration is not helping Germanys’ demographic woes. 70% of asylum applications last year were children.
Massive strain on welfare and public services.
A tightening noose around the neck of the German economy.
Guess what German people are calling these inflows of new ‘labour’ saviours?
Yep you guessed it – ‘Invaders’
Germany is losing its economic hegemony as we speak.
The simple reason the deranged ‘Frau Merkel’ -(not the German people) – embarked on this suicidal, pathological altruism crusade of – ‘bring them all here’ – was that she was instructed by her zionist masters at Goldman Sachs.
Again TR factually wrong and disgustingly anti Semitic.
Q1 the German economy grew by 0.7% beating 2015 0.3%, in fact more than doubling it.
Trade was 20 billion in March 2016, highest on record.
The budget surplus is still in the black although a lot has been earmarked for immigrants. I suspect they are playing the long game knowing that these people will eventually enter the labour force and contribute to German coffers through taxation.
They also have so much cash on hand in there current account, the rest of the EU is complaining that they should be spending it to stimulate growth.
Far from being on the cusp of a economic crash TR, they are the envy of Europe.
It just gets so burdensome when you digress to the usual tiring Elie Weisel / ADL brand of ‘victimhood’ introductions.

Is it not a bit naive of you to expect Jude to do a Paxman type of interview with Danny Morrison? As far as one can ascertain from the social media,it seems to be more of a mutual admiration club!
Jude
Maybe you’d explain what’s insulting about my comment? Are you and Danny not good friends?Did you not launch his last book?I was merely pointing out that given that the two of you are apparently good friends, that it was naive of T R to expect that it would be more than a pleasant exchange of views. If I have insulted you,I apologise, but I thought you had a thicker skin than that!
No, Argenta, you haven’t insulted me or if you have I didn’t notice -but thanks for the apology anyway. Maybe I’ll bank it. You’re entitled to see the interview any way you choose. I can only tell you that I approached that interview as I did those with Ian Paisley, Gregory Campbell, etc. Them’s the facts.
Jessica, you touch again on our earlier conversation, and again I’m curious.
You mention less monarchy; as I have my own more positive view of monarchy, I don’t agree with you on that, but I can understand why you would say it.
But isn’t the ‘Irish’ problem (if I can put it that way) with the English, with Britain, more than monarchy? Perhaps I’m wrong, but the stereotype, perhaps even the popular understanding of Ireland and its independence and nationalism, that of overcoming British oppression and seeking sovereignty. I can understand alliances and cooperation and all that, but I’d have thought that many needed less ‘Britishness’ and not just less monarchy. (?)
As for the matter of passports, if it comes to that, there will only be need of one passport control, and it won’t be the land border between North and South. As I keep trying to tell my fellow unionists, the U.K. Union isn’t safe. The British don’t want us, which is difficult when you’re British!
The Irish problem has been not having the freedom to be Irish in our own country PF. It has historically been England who has through its military advantage not allowed us to achieve this. No point going into the reasons, we are all well aware of the polarised sense of identities here.
I will admit at one stage of my life to absolutely hating the English. Having since matured and now working with people in England on a daily basis, they are a lovely people and very positive about Ireland.
I would have no problem being in a union of Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales and whatever other nations of the commonwealth decided to unite to take on Europe, especially if it meant I could feel like I am a part of my own country while living within it.
As for the union being safe. I think the world is changing and there are divisions of opinion within the UK. I think it will need to evolve regardless of the vote tomorrow.
“The British don’t want us, which is difficult when you’re British!”

Yes, that’s been a bit of an eyeopener for me; but, if you could hazard a guess, what proportion go the Nationalist/Republican/Southern community might agree with you. I’d be even more surprised if you told me that a new Commonwealth union (of whatever sort) was a common topic of conversation.
And I wonder what proportion of my own Unionist/Loyalist/British community would accept a United Ireland within a broader British context – as I said before, it’s not something I ever hear talked about.

What happened to the Eamonn McCann interview?
It would have been interesting to hear the alternative view on Brexit.
Um – that was to have been a more general interview with Eamonn but alas, he didn’t turn up…
