“L.E. AOIFE agus LIOFA le Perkin Warbeck
L.E. Aoife is not to be confused with its sound-alike LÍofa which of late has been in the newsfeed.
Last year, the Irish Fisheries Protection Vessel was decommissioned and donated to the Maritime Squadron of the Maltese Armed Forces. It is now known as P 62 and is the largest vessel in the Malta Navy.
The boat was originally named for Aoife, the stepmother of the children of Lir. Them wot scuttled Liofa below the waterline of late, to the resounding silence of the lip syncophants of the Free Southern Stateen, are offspring of the childer of Leer.

“This photograph was taken in a restaurant in Brooklyn last Spring. It features my grand-daughter Róisín and me. I love it because it catches that total abandonment to laughter that comes so easily to children and so seldom to adults (except maybe when they’re drunk and sometimes not even then).”

Make sure she’s laughing with you and not at you, jude
Nice photos.
