Interview with John O’Dowd MLA

This is an interview conducted on Saturday with John O’Dowd, the Sinn Féin candidate for Upper Bann. The interview took place at the home of Jean ‘Queenie’ Fagan, whose daughter Sheena Campbell was studying Law at Queen’s University when she was shot dead by the UVF in 1992. She was a member of Sinn Féin

The second brief video is a vox pop with local Sinn Féin supporters.

RIP Sheena. Must be very hard for her family or any family who has lost a loved one in such circumstances. Lets just hope our future is a lot brighter than our past.

Sheena was instrumental in setting up the Torrens strategy which is pertinent to the election of SF candidates. She was a very lively, intelligent, beautiful person, a great loss to her family and this country,

Yes I suppose she was targeted for that reason.
      Tragic and contemptible.

Gio can you explain your comment a bit further as I am unsure what it is you mean
    Thanks

      Bridget
I am not sure what is unclear.
I imagine the UVF decided to murder her because she was a SF activist.
As I say it was tragic and contemptible.

Gio, thanks for the clarification, however, your comment was a bit ambiguous in that on occasion you can seem to be sarcastic in your comments.

Gio was really insinuating that Sheena was involved in more than election strategy.

Shame on you. I was insinuating no such thing.
