“My wife and I spent a long weekend in Derry and Donegal last week and the pictures are associated with that too brief sojourn. We were attending the wedding of my oldest sister’s granddaughter in Derry. Pic 3 is the beautiful bride , Catherine.
Pic 1 is ar an trá at Derrybeg on a fine , sunny Gaoth Dobhair morning. What a beautiful coastline we have in Ireland.
Pic 2 is my sister’s beautiful cottage at Fana Bhui, Gortahork, which she very kindly made available to us for a couple of days.
Filling up with fuel in Bridgend, as many Derry folk do, I pondered on the possible impact of a BREXIT hard border on that community in particular and , of course, on the whole of the rest of the Island. Potentially devastating.”
