I may be mistaken but I believe that Syria is a sovereign state recognised by the United Nations where it has a seat. I also understand that no other state has the right to attack it nor station troops, naval or airforce personnel on its territory without the invitation of its Government or a resolution of the United Nations Security Council.
I hold no brief for the Syrian Government, nor any Government. For example I loathe and despise the current Irish Government and have had scarcely more respect some of its predecessors, but I would be incensed if some other power sought its overthrow by force of arms, money or manipulation of Irish academic or media institutions.
The United States and other Western powers which for the past century have wreaked havoc across the globe currently have “special forces” on the ground in Syria. As they are there without the invitation of the Syrian Government, and without a United Nations Mandate they are showing contempt for International Law and the Opinion of Mankind. ON 4 July 1776 the United States invoked the conscience of mankind when they declared their Independence, it might be argued that today they are indulging in “Un-American Activities” as understood by the Founding Fathers. What cannot be denied is that today’s United States Regime, and the Regimes of its collaborators are behaving as Rogue and Anarchist Regimes.
Every time I see or hear a British armchair General like Michael Fallon talking about strategic strikes in Syria ( or any of the countries currently being destroyed by the west) I switch it round and imagine how it would sound if a foreigner talked about strategic bombs hitting London or Cardiff. Not nice eh mister Fallon? The British are so slavish in their devotion to America they would probably support them if they bombed somewhere like the north of England. America has to bomb someone, they need to check if their expensive weapons are up to scratch. If they were to nuke Syria they would move on to another target.
When you think what coalition forces have done you wonder how we will in the west will be recorded in history.
– We executed Bin Laden and the dumped/disappeared his body at sea.
– We used Nuclear bombs twice to wipe civilian cities from the map.
– Supported ‘opposition’ forces in Syria who lured Syrian children to a van bomb while under truce
-We gaoled the person who released footage of US airmen carrying out a war crime while getting clearance from their superiors
– We helped ruin Libya an installed ISIS
– We used shock and Awe to send Iraq into the dark ages and killed millions
– We support Israel’s cruel oppression and attacks on civilians
-We propped up an Egyptian state that executes it’s opposition
– We supported a barbaric Saudi regime that seems to be the main exporter of terrorism
And all of this is just scratching the surface.
The world would be an infinitely saner and safer place with the removal of both America and Britain. They have a lustful propensity for murder and mayhem …..between them they have wilfully annihilated billions of human beings. Presently they are preoccupied with goading Russia , North Korea , China or anyone else that enters their satanic brains into engaging with them in WW3….the final conflict , no winners. The citizens in both these countries are so dumbed -down and brainwashed that the laud their murdering soldiers as hero’s and the murdered innocents as collateral damage. Maybe their psychopathic depravity will enrage someone just enough to bring this nightmare to their own doorstep !
