Who would ever have believed in a million years or in a parallel universe that in the year 2022 anyone could write an article comparing Israel’s Nation State with Ukraine’s resurgent fascism?

Not the anti-colonial revolutionary blood shed of say Egypt, Ireland, Algeria Syria, Iraq ,Yemen or Kenya. No Israel was born in colonial bloodshed.
It was created not by a risen people shaking off the chains and shackles of imperialist military occupation from the French ,the British,the Spanish,the Dutch or the Portuguese. No, these Israelis were colonial occupiers. They were alien settlers using brute force, military superiority, ethnic cleansing, rape, murder , mutilation and other barbaric methods of extermination to rid the land of its indigenous population
The first Zionists Congress in Basel Switzerland was established in 1897 by Theodore Herzl.
Its aim was to create a homeland for the Jewish people free from anti -semitism.
A land where Jewish people could live in peace , free from the threat of violence or discrimination
A laudable goal considering Jews had suffered disproportionately from pogroms and racist violence in many European countries, from European rulers, who in the main were the unelected Christian monarchies of the time.

Notbing could have been further from the truth as the expulsion of 750,00 Palestinians from their homes, town, cities and villages on May 15, 1948 will attest.

Ukraine has been invaded, governed, occupied and subjected to foreign rule by many of its closest neighbours over several centuries to include The Austrian Hungarian Empire,Russia and Poland
It joined the the USSR in 1922 after Ukrainian Bolsheviks took power from the Ukrainian Nationalists.
After the break up or downfall of the USSR in 1991 created in part by the cold war, by European and American sanctions, by the continuation of the arms race and space race, by the huge physical space that was the USSR, which came under increasing internal as well as external economic pressures Ukraine became an independent state.
While many working class former soviet citizens from across that vast empire wish to see a return to communism, those days ended when the would be oligarchs and pro Western political apparatchiks in charge of the USSR decided to reform the Soviet economies , made an economic peace with the west and embraced free market reform in the form of privatisation. Little did they realise then that the genie had been let loose from the lamp and the cold war designs of America and its western imperialist and Nato allies would come to fruition , as the nationalised state utilities of the former Soviet Union became the property of the now newly liberated former constituent parts of the USSR. These now self-governing national bodies led to a new class of oligarchs, capitalists, foreign investors and global corporations who would now collectively steal the wealth of those nations that rightly belonged to the peoples of these nation states.
While Nato promised not to encroach one centimetre east towards Russia after the fall of the Berlin Wall it has actually done the complete opposite and now sites nuclear weapons inside the former soviet republics which border the Russian Federation.
As part of this encroachment Victoria Nuland, Barack Obama and Joe Biden spent over 5 billion dollars promoting, financing and some even claim arming the fascist coup plotters of the Maidan Square riots in 2014, to over throw the democratically elected leader and government of the Ukrainian people in order to install a fiercely anti-Russian pro-Nato cabal at the head of state.
A coup ensued which inflamed the dying embers of the conflict from world war 2 which saw tens of thousands of Ukrainian nationalists join Hitler’s Nazi battalions and kill their fellow Ukrainians, send Jewish Ukrainian friends to the death camps and murder ethnic Russian speaking Ukrainians and gypsies all over the country.
It was the Russians who defeated Nazism in WW 2, losing over 25 million of its people in the process. Without Russia, Europe would today be under the jackboot of the Third Reich.

A schism erupted between the anti-Russian fascist forces in Kiev and the ethnic Ukrainian Russian speaking citizens in Eastern Ukraine specifically the Donbas region and Crimea which borders Russia.
Kiev sent in the tanks and the guns, the bombs and the aircraft to subdue, oppress, murder and occupy its own citizens.
Literally no one in Ukraine voted for the coup.Very few people actually support it even to this day.
The fascists seized power under American direction.The people of Eastern Ukraine refused to recognise a coup which encapsulated the soon to be, persecution of Russian speaking,Orthodox Ukrainians .
People have a right to defend their democracy against a foreign inspired illegal coup, don’t they?
The people said no, Kiev sent in the neo naxis and a civil war in Eastern Ukraine ensued.
For 8 years the peoples of Donbas,Lugansk, Donetsk and Crimea resisted neo nazis occupation.
The Minsk Agreements 1 and 2 were negotiated to bring peace to the country.
Zelenskiy was elected with a mandate of bringing peace to region
Instead in order to gain power, he lied.
He told the people what they wanted to hear.
They wanted peace , but what did he give them ?

A staged invasion of Donbas and Crimea only thwarted by the special Russian military operation In Ukraine.

Israel discriminates against its Arab Palestinian citizens, treating them as second -class citizens and would if it could get rid of its Palestinian population
Ukraine treats its Ukrainian Russian speaking citizens as second class citizens and would if it could get rid of its ethnic Russian speaking citizens.
While Israel ethnically cleanses the land of its Palestinian population and bombs Gaza routinely, we can the same cause and effect pattern being used In Ukraine against Donbas
While Israeli settlers burn down olive groves, attack ,Injure and maim the indigenous Palestinian population we see similar events in Ukraine.
