Why Keir Starmer makes my stomach heave

I suppose I should be more positively disposed towards Keir Starmer…I mean SIR Keir Starmer. He’s critical of wasteful activity by Tory ministers, but let’s look at his own expense account.

When he was Director of Public Prosecutions, between 2008 and 2013, he managed to burn his way through some serious expenses. An example: he took a £6,808 flight to Washington DC, and a £4, 914 flight to Hong Kong. In his first two years in the job he had a chauffeur-driven car, which cost the British taxpayer £161,273. During this period, he was living  just four miles from his office; yet his car cost an average of £1920 a week over two years. Sometimes he didn’t bother with the car, though, because he sent in a bill for £330 for 13 taxi journeys in London. Overall, his travel bill as DPP dug £236.485 out of the public pocket.

OK, we all spend money foolishly sometimes. But it’s usually our own money, not that of the taxpayer. And it’s nowhere near, I feel safe in saying, what the good knight Starmer helped himself to.  Not that any of the Tories appeared to  object.

The thing that really makes me grind my teeth is that Starmer is so repulsed by the moral conduct of Jeremy Corbyn, that he has issued orders for Corbyn not to be allowed to stand for his Islington seat.  It appears Jeremy is anti-semitic,  although when and how seems rather more vague.

Starmer is what my old History teacher would have called ‘a political jelly-belly’. He’s so terrified of the idea that the Labour party might be labelled Remain  or socialist or remotely left, he’s got the  party in a strangle-hold that threatens to squeeze any last sign of courage or integrity from its ranks.

I swear to God – I’d nearly rather see Sunak win the next British election. At least he isn’t afraid people might think he’s a Tory.

Stormtrooper Starmer is just a symptom of the much bigger problem i.e. fake democracy fraudulently disguised as real democracy. Only a rightwing/pro-Israel party, like Blair’s New Labour, is allowed to govern. The successful right-wing media demonising and toppling of Corbyn was led by state broadcaster BBC. Out of 650 MP’s, Starmer was the only one invited to become a member of the US rightwing neo-con’s Trilateral Commission. An organisation that believes, we, the people, have too much freedom, too much democracy. He’s more authoritarian than most Tories. That’s why the Establishment will ensure he’s our next PM as the UK lurches increasingly authoritarian in goosestep with the US and EU etc.

I agree so much. In fact some mornings I get up an hour early to have a longer day to despise him.
