PAT+JUDE TALK ABOUT SIR JEFF’S STAND, SF”S SHIFT TO MIDDLE ,POVERTY TODAY, & DERRY GIRLS + DERRY GAA

Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has vowed that he and his party will ‘stand firm’ regarding the Windsor Framework. He has also talked about other people ‘stealing’ DUP votes.  Is he cutting off the route back to Stormont? Or will the British government give him a sweetener that’ll allow him to claim victory?

In the South, Sinn Féin appear to be shuffling towards the middle ground, as they announce that they “won’t withdraw Irish defence forces from pre-committed operations.” Is SF a bit like the British Labour. party – looking good in the opinion polls, hyper-cautious about saying anything that might change that?

Is the South composed of two populations – the one where its government expects to have a €65 billion budget surplus one of these years, and the other heading to food banks for the first time? Can anything be done about this gross inequality?

That Derry-Armagh Ulster final was a nail-biter, wasn’t it? Except I know two dunderheads who didn’t even watch it on telly.

Finally, Derry Girls picks up yet more awards. Am I the only one who thinks the show was over the top?
