“Which society hostess (1968-1947), through her daughter Sonia Cubitt, is the great grandmother
  of Queen Camilla?”

The Answer, courtesy of that same paper of record, is Alice Keppel.

In polite society society hostesses are called whores.

Alice Keppel was one of a stable of King Edward VII’s mounts when he was Prince of Wales, who filled a   whole pew in Westminster Abbey at his Coronation, dubbed “The Loose Box”

The British are sticklers for tradition. The first Baron Carrington, childhood friend of Edward, introduced
him to the actress Lili Langtry.

The current Baron Carrington, as Lord Chamberlain presided over the recent Lord Chamberlain. His Father, Peter Carrington, as Secretary of State for Defence arranged for the torture of prisoners on
Internment in August 1971, according to Labour’s Merlyn Rees, and Stormont PM Brian Faulkener.
In 1972 paratroopers used torture, including “waterboarding” on one prisoner who had committed no
offence. As a result of the torture he confessed killing one of their comrades, was tried and sentenced
to death. The sentence was not carried out, but the man, who died within the last few weeks, served
    seventeen years in prison.

Carrington was still in the picture on Bloody Sunday 30 January 1972 and Major General Robert
Ford, Brigadier General Frank Kitson were there to see that the pre-planned murders were carried out
by Paratroop Battallion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Derek Wilford .and his men. The earth had not settled on the graves of those murdered that day before Wilford and Kitson were awarded medals
    for Chivalry from their Monarch.

Carrington and Prime Minister Heath instructed Lord Widgery on how to conduct his trinunal

Carrington had never been elected to anything in his life when, as Foreign Secretary, he declared that the IRA represented nobody. Shortly thereafter Bonny Sands and other IRA men an an INLA won
Parliamentary seats with their hands tied behind their backs and their voices unheard and unreported
in the media. When Carrington died, aged 99, he left over £30,000, 000. When Sands died, aged 27,
he didn’t have a penny. But he had earned 30,000 votes. The worthless, torturing, murdering Carrington had £1,000 for every vote won by Sands.

Carrington inherited a seat in the Lords in 1940 on his 20th Birthday. He went on to preside over
NATO. Democratic credentials are not required by that body.

Intellectual ones were not demanded of Carrington wnen given a place at Eton, where his Housemaster, described him as stupid and only to succeed in Farming, Soldiering or STockbroking.

Carrington’s Obituary in THE TIMES was followed by an appreciation by a farming failed Lloyds’ Underwriter, whose expectations of a prosperous sinecure had been spoiled by asbestos claims, been
given free staw by His Lordship
    whose expectation of
