Do Americans know or care that they could stop the Gaza slaughter by turning off the financial and military tap that flows so generously in Israel? Will people remember the horror of what is still happening? Will the Arab world seek its own revenge over coming years in a world which failed to help Gaza and even helped in the slaughter?
Is NEI’s education system – the 11+, separate schools for boys and girls, separate schools for Catholics and Protestants – in bad need of an overhaul? Or are we too busy trying to keep a roof on the school?
Have you any cash on you? No, not looking for a loan – but more and more people are using a credit card, to the point where, in Sweden for example, cash has been virtually eliminated. Is that how things will be with us in a few years’ time?
