And so finally, finally, Jeffrey has groped his way to a decision about Stormont, one which he claims to have squeezed major concessions from the UK and the EU. What were these concessions? We’re not sure but we try to squeeze some meaning out of what has happened.
Then there was the Man Behind The Wire. Was the live-commentary leakage of the DUP meeting a hugely divisive action or just a schoolboy prank by the young-at-heart Jamie Bryson?
And was the IDF filmed invasion of that hospital in Gaza, where they executed three members of Hamas, a victory for Israel or a grotesque execution, not unlike that of James Connolly or Maire Drumm?
Hurry to hear our deep and instructive wisdom….

The reason for compulsory coalition is that unionists couldn’t be trusted. So as nationalists are a majority it is no longer required. Therefore that change should be no big deal.
I too thought of Maire Drumm when I saw that rather chilling footage. I know Hamas play fast and loose with the rules of war themselves (October 7) but a hospital really should be a safe haven. No mercy in war I suppose, but still awful.
