Since our last podcast, a lot has happened. For example, Ukrainian leader Zelenskii got mugged good and proper in the White House. Was it a set-up? Did Zelenskii take the bait? And is this just a West Wing dust-up from the disgusting Trump or the beginning of a global reset? In other words, will Europe have to look after itself? Is the US abandoning its role as the policeman of the world?
Back in the day when the Americans were fighting to establish their independence from England, a Coleraine man call Hercules Mulligan (yip, a beaut of a name) played a key role, as did one of his slaves. After the Americans won the war, the slave was given his freedom. Big of them, eh?
