And so we come to Good Friday. Do you remember this day as a sunlit, happy one? Or a day when shops were shut and religious ceremonies were gloomy and even scary?
Stephen Collins has another anti-UI article in today’s Irish Times, in which he urges Irish people to stop talking about a border poll and to work together and get happier together. Sure it’s people, not borders, that serve us best. OR IS IT?
If Trump slaps a massive tariff on the EU, should the EU strike back or should it hold back and see if it can persuade the American president to be nicer? Well, one man – Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada – appears to have figured a way that really softens Trump’s cough for him.Should the EU learn from Carney?
This and so much else to raise your spirits…

Jude/Pat, instead of highlighting the partisan partitionist position of Stephen Collins, would it not make more sense to take his paymasters of the Irish Times, who continuously wheel him out every second month to teach us about the evils of a United Ireland.
Isn’t it the Irish Times who are responsible for Collins spouting such one-sided views.
Why cant the IT, allow you the other Collins, space to give an alternative view?
