Every Western leader would appear on television looking grave enough to audition for a Shakespeare tragedy. The phrase “unprecedented escalation” would be deployed so frequently that linguists might classify it as an endangered cliché.
Markets would plummet, ambassadors would be recalled, sanctions would multiply like rabbits in spring. Think tanks would produce diagrams with arrows, red zones, and phrases like “global security architecture.” Commentators would solemnly explain that this was not merely aggression but the geopolitical equivalent of setting the neighbour’s house on fire and then complaining about the smoke.
And yet—this is where the comparison becomes darkly comic—if the same scenario somehow involved Donald Trump, the reaction in parts of the political universe would be… different. Not quieter exactly, but more interpretive. Where Putin would trigger unified condemnation, Trump might trigger a debate segment titled “Five-Dimensional Chess or Misunderstood Genius?”

It amazes me how some people still give the Orange faced Satan praise. Admittedly the people who love Trump are usually racists and bigots. White supremacists. It is staggering just how ignorant he is. The sooner he is in prison the better. Preferably with Putin and Netanyahu.
