He has contacted Infantino,the head honcho of international football, and persuaded him to remove a red card from the record of one of the US’s best players. Nice generous gesture,but does it make sense, to have rules that. you ignore when they don’t suit you?
And to add insult to injury, Trump has been talking about Teddy Roosevelt and how he gave himself and his son a medal of honour. The Donald muses about doing the same for himself and his two sons – “We’d have a threesome!”he says, without blushing.
Pat Leahy in today’s Irish Times suggests that FF, FG and SF will all make a united Ireland and how to get there an important item on their next election platform. Will they? And will they say anything about what kind of UI they’d favour?
