Britain continues to obstruct Good Friday Agreement (GFA) obligations and to undermine the Northern Ireland Protocol of the EU-UK Withdrawal Treaty. Both agreements protect Irish citizens rights and promote economic development in all of Ireland. We ask U. S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken: a) to oppose Britain’s so-called amnesty plan to cover-up collusion killings in N. I.; b) to evaluate and report to the American people and to Congress British policies and actions in N. I. since 1998; and c) to oppose Britain’s announced intention to repeal the 1998 Human Rights Act of N. I. We thank Representatives Keating, Ciccilline, Connolly and Fitzpatrick as well as Senators Booker, Casey and Collins for their support of the Good Friday Agreement. We ask Members of Congress and all Americans to join in this appeal. Committee of 250 Britain continues to obstruct the principles and obligations of the Northern Ireland Peace Agreement (Good Friday Agreement) and dismisses US and EU efforts to act as guarantors. For 25 years the British have delayed, undermined, or ultimately scrapped five implementing pacts. Truth, democracy, and the rule of law is fine elsewhere but not for Northern Ireland. Now, after Brexit, Britain cares even less about Irish citizens in NI, EU rules, or complaints about human rights abuses there. This was foreseen when the ABC was formed in 2016. With typical Brexiteer arrogance Parliament is set to abandon the rule of law by burying the lawless killings of 1,000 civilians in NI by MI-5, police and Army personnel using loyalist gangs. No one in Ireland wants the bill. The proposal is a fundamental violation of Article II of the EU constitution and mocks the US-UK Atlantic Charter. We ask the Biden Administration, Members of Congress, and Americans to oppose this action and to warn that its passage will remove any prospect of a UK-US trade deal. We ask Members of Congress and all Americans to join in this appeal.

1. Both targeted shopping centers with many victims being women and children.
2. No Dublin warnings were given although the police, Army and MI-5 knew of the Omagh attack.
3. Both were acts of war intending to destabilize and inspire more repression.
4. The Dublin bombing was a message to oppose the Sunningdale Agreement and the Omagh bombing was to protest the US backed Good Friday Agreement.
5. Both bombings combined Britain’s deep state craftmanship and loyalist pawns. 6. The British government has spent over 50 years refusing Ireland access to Army records for Dublin/Monaghan bombs. The British accountability for Omagh is, in part, complicated by the fact that the PSNI, British Army FRU and MI-5 knew three days before the dissidents (incl UK double agent) were intending to bomb Omagh 3 days before but incredibly, or maybe not, failed to inform the public. 29 lives lost. The Bookend Bombings were messages from the deep State cowards in Whitehall who are counting on the Official Secrets Act keeping their dirty war tactics under wraps. The Biden Administration opposed the Legacy Law for NI with the ‘demarche’ for good reason.’ In 2021 Parliament adopted the CHIS or SPY/COPS law which retroactively made legal murders by Britain’s proclaimed legion of double agents in the IRA. Two hundred killings alone are thought to be attributable to three such spies now dead. Of course, each killing may have the dual purpose of extending the conflict and destabilization. Despite this Whitehall ‘enemy within’, Prime Minister Burnham should publicly acknowledge the threat and proceed with determination to announce and implement his agenda for NI. Why? Because America’s ‘demarche’ is a clear sign that U. S. cooperation and toleration of British lawlessness is at an end. Unlike the propaganda and wishful thinking slop of Brexit served up by the Conservatives, there are tangible social, political and economic benefits to both country’s especially if reunification is packaged with British re-entry to the EU. The choice then would be the bold stroke of Ireland reunification by Parliament with a White Paper before the voters or the referendum slog through a dubious referendum based on a tin horn badged ‘viceroy’ whose basic charge is to suppress democracy and Ireland’s unity. Meanwhile Whitehall’s dark and violent forces lay in wait.
We wish to acknowledge and thank a few Members of Congress who, in the past, have used their voice, letters, and resolutions in the defense of the GFA, letters against UK lawlessness, and in support of Ireland’s unity.
