Was Rishi Sunak’s visit to our stateen an effort to establish himself as the strong unionist figure holding the UK together – or just a photo-op?
The UK has strikes on every side – nurses strike, rail strike, teachers and lecturers strike – and so far, the British public seem to be in sympathy with the strikers. Will that sympathy last?
Leo Varadkar takes over as Taoiseach again today. Will that video which allegedly shows him kissing/being kissed by a man harm him? Or will he be judged by his political ability?
And finally – Messi. What sane person wouldn’t want that modest, badger-like figure which brims with talent/genius to win the World Cup on Sunday? It could happen.
