RTÉ: Sure where else would you get it?

So. The headlines from RTÉ say that the station will not participate in the Eurovision Song Contest next year, If Israel is a participant. No shit, guys. You’ve finally found your cojones. 

Mind you, by the time Eurovision Song Contest 2026 rolls around, there’ll probably no longer be a Gaza genocide attempt by Israel. They very likely will have completed the job by then and will be waist-deep in negotiations with Donald Trump about where he’ll build his golf course in what was Gaza and will have become the Mediterranean billionaires’ favourite resort after Mar-e-Lago. 

So here’s the question,New Broom Bakhurst: did you not think the number of Palestinians killed by last May was enough, and does that explain why you hung around  until now before speaking out? Because sitting on your hands for those brief few months has cost the lives of over 10,000 more defenceless people. Giving us/them the grand total of nearly 65,000 innocent Palestinian lives. RTÉ  – the watchdog  of the nation.
