OK, class, pay attention. By way of intro, a bit of an oul’ pome.
“That time of year thou mayst in me behold
When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang
Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,
Bare ruined choirs, where late the sweet birds sang.”
Despite this, in just under three weeks, I plan to fly in the face of medical advice and common sense. I will be ‘running’ in the Omagh Half-Marathon on 26 March, in order to help raise funds for Trócaire, which as you know not only supports the weakest in our world but campaigns for global justice.
So how can you help? By pressing into my hot little hand, should you meet me, as much as you can spare. Alternatively, you can go to https://www.justgiving.com/Jude-Collins4 and donate online. Please – do the right thing if at all possible. You’ll have added your shoulder to the wheel for a better world, and you’ll feel good for at least a week. Don’t postpone it – do it NOW. And accept my thanks in anticipation.
You’ll notice I’ve a target of £1000 in less than three weeks. Wouldn’t it be great if we beat it?

Okay Jude…job done ….don’t go and die on us , okay?
I have no plans to, pk. But you know how to make God laugh: tell him your plans..Honest to God, I have none….
Good.luck.Jude.
Thanks.Jim.I.may.need.it.
Good luck Jude, I hope it goes well mo chara. On another note, I heard you on Talkback and you were very good. I had to ring on as Ruth Dudly Edwards contribution, was making me nauseas. You are an invaluable counter narrative to revisionist far and near in Ireland, and beyond.
Francis – how can I say it…I think I love you…Go raibh maith agat.
