JUDE TALKS TO DANNY BOYLE FROM TYRONE ABOUT SIR JEFF & GOING BACK, + CONOR BRADLEY OF LIVERPOOL.

Today I talk to Danny Boyle (no, not the movie man) who is from Castlederg in County Tyrone but comes originally – like myself – from the town of Omagh. Danny has an interest in things political and things sporting, so we talk first about Sir Jeffrey and the DUP, and whether Sir Jeff is being held hostage by his own hardliners. Maybe the meeting at Stormont  – happening even as I type –  will clarify things a bit? Maybe.

Our second topic looks at young Conor Bradley who has appeared on Liverpool’s first team a couple of times and is looking very promising. He’s from Castlederg, and as a result his people there are following his career with more than a bit of interest. He has soccer and Gaelic football in his background, and has appeared for North(east)ern Ireland several times.

Snuggle up somewhere warm and see what you think of our  chat…

How could anyone from a Nationalist background ever play for NI I’ll never know.
